What is the HuggleHeart Promise Guarantee?

We’re all dog parents here at HuggleHounds®, so we understand the importance of fun, safety and durability when it comes to our pups and their toys. We also acknowledge a dog’s natural play can cause damage. One tooth inserted in the wrong spot and, whoops! If you are not satisfied with a HuggleHounds® product, you are eligible for a one-time replacement via a hugglehounds.com store credit of equal value. We ask you send us a copy of your receipt and a picture so we know which item you purchased (yes, we make more than one Moose toy☺) to customerservice@hugglehounds.com. Where are HuggleHounds toys made?

Our Tuffut-Flex® and Tuffut-Lon® toys are made here in the USA.  Regardless of the toy type, all HuggleHounds® are designed by our team of award-winning designers here in the US. Plush toys are then passed to our engineers in Shanghai to create prototypes, which return to the US for any necessary changes or revisions. Depending upon the particular toy, it will be manufactured in China or India. Our US team visits the finest fabric mills to select the corduroys and other fabrics we use. Our Naturals toys are manufactured in India.

The HuggleHounds® toys manufactured in China are produced at our boutique BSCI-certified factory. We are proud of the superior quality of our products, and the fact they meet US Standard Consumer Safety Specs for Toy Safety (ASTM F963-11). They are tested for leads and phthalates, double scanned for metal or foreign objects, AZO dye free, stuffed with a non-toxic polyester fill and all eyes are embroidered for added safety!


Are your toys safe?

HuggleHounds® dedicates the time and resources necessary to ensure all our products carry the CE mark, recognizable worldwide as a declaration that our toys comply with the requirements of the European health, safety, and environmental legislation.

Our Knotties® and plush toys go through rigorous post-production work including seam testing for exacting pull strength, and a pass-through metal detector to ensure no errant materials found their way in during production. The products then go through a second inspection at our warehouse in Carlisle PA. before entering into inventory—an additional step few manufacturers add to their process.

Our Ruff-Tex® toys are hand-painted, piece by piece, using paints that meet child safety standard EN71. After painting and detailing, the toys have a food-grade silicon oil to brighten and prevent them from whitening.

We acknowledge no pet toy is indestructible. HuggleHounds® are play toys, not chew toys. We always recommend you supervise your pet’s use and replace items after reasonable wear.


What is Tuffut Technology® lining?

Tuffut Technology® lining is our exclusive, patented 3-layer protection. Found in all of our plush toys except our Wee Huggles®, Tuffut Technology® lining means they can survive frequent play sessions, even with tough chewers! Tuffut Technology® provides flexibility and durability for your fur baby’s favorite friend.

 

What is your shipping policy?  

On orders up to $74.99, we charge a flat, fully insured shipping rate of $5.99. Orders of $75.00 and above ship free. Depending upon address/location, orders typically arrive in 7 to 10 days. 


How can I track my order?

You will receive an email with updated tracking information once your order has been shipped. Should you misplace your notice, you can reach out to customerservice@hugglehounds.com at any time and we will assist in providing tracking details.


How long will it take for my order to ship?

Your dog is in a rush! Orders are typically shipped within 1-2 business days (unless otherwise specified) and you should expect delivery in 7 to 10 days. Orders within the Continental US ship via UPS Sure Post. (Sure Post packages travel via UPS to local locations, where packages transfer to USPS for delivery to your home). We offer a flat shipping rate of $5.99 that includes our Insured Package Protection. This rate applies to orders up to $74.99. Orders $75.00 and over ship free.

Get extra peace of mind with online shopping and protection from lost, stolen, or damaged packages. By emailing our Customer Service department, our Insured Package Protection offers quick, easy resolution if something happens to your delivery, with hassle-free refunds or reorders.

Please keep in mind at times there may be shipping delays due to USPS service impacts.

Can I return a product?

We want every HuggleHounds® purchase to feel like a great decision, and to make sure both you and your pet are happy. Our return policy applies only to merchandise purchased directly from us at hugglehounds.com, with no restocking fee

Returns: Merchandise, if unused and in original packaging with tags still attached and in resalable condition, can be returned within 7 days of purchase. Return shipping is the purchaser’s responsibility.

Defects: We guarantee our products against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. If something seems amiss, please contact us before allowing your dog to play with the toy.

To become a HuggleHounds® Retail Partner, you can send an email to orders@hugglehounds.com and request a retailer application form, or you may access the wholesale link in this website footer to be directed to Faire, one of our fine online wholesale partners.

Please note: we're committed to the business success of all our partners, and to ensure that success, we carefully monitor online pricing and we only authorize brick and mortar retailers who agree to honor our MAP policy. As such, new retail account applications are required to provide information that will help us protect your store(s) in this competitive environment. Note, we do not authorize ecommerce sellers, and we do not allow our products to be sold on any online marketplace, except by our exclusive registered agent.
